Annual Fund News

Our students thank you!

(Pictured above: Students join University Chancellor Sister Camille Kliebhan, OSF in extending their  "thank you" for supporting Stritch)!

The Office of University Advancement would like to thank our generous alumni and community donors who contributed to the Stritch Annual Fund during the 2012-13 fiscal year, which came to a close on July 31. Money raised insures scholarship aid for students, upgrades to classroom facilities and investments in our faculty. All gifts help to ensure the best educational experience for all Stritch students.

A special thank you to those who contributed to the Santa Chiara Fund, a need-based annual scholarship fund started in honor of Sister Camille Kliebhan and the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi. The first student recipients of Santa Chiara scholarships will begin their journeys at Stritch this fall.

Consider making a gift and continue supporting the Stritch mission. Gifts to the Annual Fund or Santa Chiara Fund can be made online here.

This July the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) honored the Wolves women's basketball program for achieving a 3.595 team GPA. This ranked second overall amongst all NAIA institutions with Vanguard University of Costa Mesa, Calif. taking the top spot with a 3.610 team GPA.

Oct. 28 alumni panel to include serial entrepreneurs Laurie and Frank Peregrine

When Frank Peregrine worked alongside his wife, Laurie Tines Peregrine, ’06, in 1993 to establish CustomCall Data Systems, a billing service for North American telecommunications companies, he expected to help get things up and running before moving on to a “real job.”

“I’m still threatening to get a ‘real job’ some day,” said Frank, now in his 20th year at CustomCall, which the Peregrines sold last year to Enghouse Systems Limited, a publicly traded Canadian company. Previously the chairman and CEO, Frank now serves as vice president of business development for the company’s networks division and Laurie, former president of CustomCall, recently left after working as director of billing operations under Enghouse.

At an Oct. 28 Stritch alumni reception in Madison, the couple will serve as panelists and share the business insights that helped their company flourish and that continue to guide them as they pursue new opportunities.
