Young Artist Art + Design Program Cornish's Young Artist Program in Art and Design is an exciting, three–week intensive studio experience for students who want to explore the visual arts in a professional art school setting. Students hone their skills, learn new techniques, and meet other students who share an interest in art. Participants immerse themselves in art–making and become part of a creative community, meeting and working with other talented artists from diverse backgrounds. The Young Artist Program provides students with a perfect platform to expand their knowledge, grow as individuals, develop strong portfolio pieces, and get a taste of college life. Session I, July 6 – 23 (Final Exhibition, Friday, July 23) Register online at cornish.edu/summer/artdesign. Housing Info Cornish College of the Arts provides supervised housing for Summer at Cornish students aged 15 and over. Cornish Housing is located in an urban location near our Main Campus Center, just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Seattle and the Space Needle. Individual rooms are much larger than typical residence hall rooms and each has its own private bath. The cost of living in the residence halls is $300 per week. Because of the high demand for space, on–campus housing fills quickly and not all students are able to secure residence hall space. Find more information at cornish.edu/summer/housing. If you have any questions, please visit us at cornish.edu/summer/contact. |
